Eargle Endorses Jeff Johnson for S.C. House District 58

Horry County Auditor Lois Eargle endorsed Jeff Johnson for S.C. House District 58 yesterday.

When GSD talked to Eargle, she said, “I have known Jeff since he was a small boy. He is a wonderful person. His family has supported me since I first ran for the statehouse in the mid-1970’s, walking neighborhoods and knocking on doors. I am very happy to be able to encourage people to vote for Jeff.”

The campaign of Jeff Johnson is proud to announce that long-time Horry County Auditor and former S.C. House Representative Lois Eargle has announced her endorsement of Jeff Johnson in the S.C. House District 58 Republican Primary.

“Today I am endorsing Jeff Johnson for House Seat District 58,” Eargle said. “I have known Jeff all of his life and I know of no one more outstanding and qualified than he to represent this district.

“Jeff is the son of Edwin Johnson of the Horry County Sheriff’s Office and Jeannie Johnson who retired as a court reporter.  Jeff is a great family man who attends Juniper Bay Baptist Church with his wife and three (3) children.

“I know what it takes to be a good representative in Columbia,” continued Eargle. “Jeff has all the best qualities needed, including strong conservative principles and the best interests of his constituents at  heart.”

“In response, Jeff Johnson said of the Eargle endorsement: “I am very humbled and honored to have such an inspiring person and public official as Lois Eargle to endorse me,” said Johnson. “She is a model to us all of what it means to be a good public servant and friend of the community.  If elected, I will work hard every day to live up to her example and to justify her confidence in me.”

The Republican Primary for S.C. House District 58 will be held Tuesday June 10th. Please come out and vote for your next State House Representative, Jeff Johnson.
